1. About MahjOn
MahjOn is a digital Mahjong game that enables users to play MahjOn against computer-controlled opponents and/or other users.
The Service may use virtual in-game coins (“Coins”) for gameplay, entry into games, rewards, bonuses and other in-game activities.
Coins are virtual items intended solely for use within MahjOn. Coins:
- are not real money;
- cannot be withdrawn as cash;
- cannot be redeemed for money or any item of real-world monetary value;
- cannot be exchanged for cryptocurrency or other monetary instruments;
- cannot be sold or transferred between users except where an in-game feature expressly permits a non-monetary gameplay interaction; and
- have no value outside the Service.
2. Information We May Collect
The information collected depends on the features that you use.
2.1 Account Information
When you create or use an account, we may collect information such as:
- name or display name;
- email address;
- mobile number;
- user ID;
- authentication information;
- profile information; and
- account creation date and status.
We do not store your account password in readable form where authentication is managed through secure authentication systems.
2.2 Device and Technical Information

- app version;
- language;
- IP address;

- device type;
- crash and diagnostic information; and
- identifiers used for fraud prevention, security or analytics.
2.3 Gameplay Information

- opponents and game mode;

- MahjOn scores;
- rounds played;
- virtual Coin entry fees;
- Coins won or lost;
- Coin balance;

We may use this information to operate the game, calculate scores and virtual Coin balances, maintain game integrity and improve the Service.
2.4 Virtual Coin and Purchase Information
MahjOn may allow you to acquire Coins through in-app purchases.
Purchases are processed by platforms such as the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
We may receive information such as:
- product purchased;
- number of Coins purchased;
- transaction identifier;
- purchase receipt or purchase token;
- price and currency;
- date and time of purchase; and
- purchase or refund status.
We do not receive or store your complete credit card, debit card or banking details when payments are processed directly by Apple or Google.
2.5 Referral Information
If you use our referral functionality, we may process information such as:
- your referral code;
- the referral link you shared;
- the account associated with a referral;
- whether a referral was successfully completed; and
- Coins or other in-game rewards granted in connection with the referral.
Referral information may be used to prevent duplicate, fraudulent or abusive referral claims.

We may use analytics technologies, including services provided by Google Firebase or similar providers, to understand how users interact with MahjOn.
Analytics information may include:
- app sessions;
- screens viewed;
- gameplay events;

- inactivity periods; and
- crash or performance information.
We may use aggregated or segmented analytics to understand user behaviour and improve the Service.

If you permit notifications, we may use push-notification services such as Firebase Cloud Messaging or Apple Push Notification Service.

- virtual Coin rewards;

- re-engagement messages.
You may disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.
3. How We Use Information

4. Virtual Coin Economy
MahjOn may provide Coins through:
- welcome bonuses;
- gameplay;
- purchases;
- referral programs;
- daily login rewards;
- promotional campaigns;
- customer-support adjustments; and
- other in-game features.
Coins are stored as part of your MahjOn account and are governed by our Terms and Conditions.
Coins are not money, stored value, deposits, securities, cryptocurrency or financial instruments.
MahjOn does not provide users with a mechanism to withdraw Coins for cash or redeem Coins for real-world monetary prizes.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information with service providers where reasonably necessary to operate MahjOn.
These may include:
Google/Firebase
We may use Firebase services for functions including:
- authentication;
- analytics;
- cloud messaging;
- configuration;
- application infrastructure; and
- crash reporting.
Apple
If you use MahjOn on an Apple device, Apple may process information relating to downloads, purchases, subscriptions or other App Store services under Apple’s own terms and privacy policies.
Google Play
If you use MahjOn on an Android device distributed through Google Play, Google may process downloads, purchases and other Play services under Google’s own terms and privacy policies.
Cloud and Technology Providers
We may share data with hosting, database, analytics, customer-support, fraud-prevention and technology providers that process information on our behalf.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if reasonably necessary to:
- comply with applicable law;
- respond to lawful government or court requests;
- investigate fraud or illegal activity;
- protect our users;
- protect TJAM Studios’ rights or property; or
- enforce our agreements.
6. Advertising and Promotional Communications
If MahjOn introduces advertising or marketing technologies, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe the relevant collection, sharing and advertising practices.
Where consent is required by applicable law or platform policy, we will obtain the required consent.

- providing the Service;
- maintaining your account;

Certain transactional, security or legal records may be retained after an account has been deleted where retention is required or permitted by law.
8. Account and Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your MahjOn account and associated personal information through:

Upon a valid deletion request, we will delete or anonymize personal information associated with your account unless retention is required for legal, fraud-prevention, transaction, security or regulatory purposes.
Deleting an account may permanently remove:
- gameplay history;
- virtual Coin balance;
- purchased but unused Coins;
- referral benefits;
- rankings;
- rewards; and
- other account-related data.
Account deletion cannot normally be reversed.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.
However, no online service or electronic storage method can guarantee absolute security.
Users are responsible for protecting access to their own accounts and devices.
10. Children and Age Requirements
MahjOn is not intended for children below the minimum age permitted to independently use the Service under applicable law.
Users who are legally required to obtain parental or guardian consent must do so before using the Service.
We may restrict access to particular features or territories where required by law, platform requirements or age-rating requirements.
11. International Processing
Our technology providers may process information in countries other than your country of residence.
Where required, we take reasonable measures to ensure that such processing complies with applicable data-protection requirements.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including the right to:
